It may just be the circles I run in but, I never hear people saying they play in both. I suspect a few do. Caught my attention. For a rational discussion it would seem people would need to have experienced both. Those engaging so far have been in both. I agree.

I'm gonna get a little off-topic, but am adding some more appropriate suggestions here; other people have suggested them too, I'm just kind of bundling a few things that I'd personally like to see in to one comment. I also know that I posted earlier, but I'm just adding onto my previous comment, really. I don't see why this would even be that difficult to implement, to be honest. AP Invite-Only groups would be a fantastic addition too, as it's incredibly hard to run any sorts of AP-required rooms or roleplays and have a separate group for "management" of said roleplay or room that would require Invite-Only. GA people can still see Invite-Only groups, and if there's anything within the group that could break GA rules then the group will obviously be flagged.
